The Food & Beverage Coordinator supports the day-to-day planning, communication, administration, and execution of Food & Beverage operations throughout the venue. This position works closely with operations, culinary, premium, concessions, catering, and other internal departments to help ensure events are organized, communicated effectively, and executed with a high level of hospitality. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment, and motivated to support both the customer experience and the continued growth of the Food & Beverage team. What You’ll Do Provide exceptional hospitality and professional service to customers, clients, team members, and internal partners. Support Food & Beverage leadership with coordination and communication for arena events, private events, premium experiences, catering, and concessions. Create and distribute operational materials for upcoming events, including menus, pricing, service updates, event information, setup requirements, and other relevant communications. Coordinate with operations and culinary teams to ensure event details, timelines, service expectations, and special requirements are clearly communicated. Assist with the preparation and distribution of event documents, diagrams, room layouts, service plans, and other operational materials. Maintain accurate event information and communicate changes to appropriate departments and team members. Prepare and publish weekly Food & Beverage operational notes and event updates while anticipating upcoming operational needs. Maintain accurate customer, client, event, and departmental files and records. Assist with administrative functions including scheduling support, payroll and timekeeping, invoices, reporting, data entry, and departmental documentation. Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of Food & Beverage operations and special events as needed. Assist in coordinating and directing part-time, temporary, and event staff during assigned events and operational projects. Work collaboratively with culinary, operations, supply chain, standards & compliance, finance, and other departments to support successful event execution. Conduct research related to upcoming concerts, sporting events, conventions, and special events, including anticipated attendance, event demographics, sales opportunities, VIP information, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities to improve organization, communication, service, and operational efficiency within the Food & Beverage department. Support Food & Beverage leadership with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, restaurants, catering, private events, convention centers, hotels, sports venues, or similar environments preferred. Previous administrative, coordination, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with event management software, point-of-sale systems, scheduling platforms, or similar Food & Beverage technology is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to remain professional, flexible, and solutions focused in a fast-paced event environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees, managers, customers, clients, and multiple departments. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar, including daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must pass criminal background check.
