Folklift operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing inventory within the warehouse environment using various types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to load, unload, and transport goods safely throughout the warehouse Perform heavy lifting of inventory items with proper technique to prevent injury and ensure product integrity Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and complete order picking tasks accurately Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly Assist in order picking processes by selecting products according to shipping orders with precision and efficiency Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas for easy access and optimal space utilization Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to operational procedures Experience Prior experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during inventory tasks Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with forklift maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently over long shifts Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and order picking techniques will help ensure efficiency in daily operations Join our team if you’re ready to bring energy, precision, and safety-minded focus to a vital logistics role.
