Floral Delivery Driver

About us Ballard Blossom is a family owned and operated business, serving Seattle's floral needs since 1927. Ballard Blossom is looking to hire safe and courteous drivers to delivery flowers, plants and other gift items throughout the Greater Seattle Area. We are currently hiring full-time, part-time and contracted delivery drivers. Full-time and part-time employees will be responsible for one of the company's vehicles and expected to follow all company policies, including policies regarding uniforms, electronics use. In addition to delivery duties, full-time drivers are responsible for general upkeep around the shop (This includes sweeping, mopping, stocking glass, etc.). Contract drivers will complete deliveries in their own vehicle and will not be subject to company policies. They will be paid $10 per delivery and $0.72 per mile driven. They will be responsible for providing their vehicle's odometer reading at the collection of their deliveries as well as communicating their ending mileage at the completion of said deliveries. * Ballard Blossom is designated as an essential business by the State. Applicants for full-time and part-time positions should be eligible to work in that capacity. *Applicants must be able to work Saturdays and Overtime during Floral Holidays (Valentines, Mothers' Day, Christmas, Etc.). * For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide a recent copy of their drivers abstract.
