About the Role: The Floor Supply and Cart Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of supply distribution within a retail or warehouse environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all floor supplies are well-stocked, organized, and readily available to support daily operations. The technician manages the collection, cleaning, and maintenance of carts used for transporting goods, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use by staff and customers. By effectively coordinating supply levels and cart availability, this role directly contributes to a smooth workflow and enhances the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet the dynamic needs of the facility. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently. Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply handling. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or supply chain support roles. Familiarity with safety standards related to equipment maintenance and supply handling. Basic mechanical skills for minor cart repairs. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management. Experience using inventory tracking software or systems. Responsibilities: Monitor and replenish floor supplies to ensure consistent availability throughout the workday. Collect, clean, inspect, and maintain carts to guarantee safety and functionality for all users. Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to report supply shortages or equipment issues promptly. Assist in organizing storage areas to optimize space and improve accessibility of supplies and carts. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while performing all duties to maintain a secure work environment. Skills: The required skills such as attention to detail and organizational abilities are essential for accurately monitoring supply levels and maintaining cart conditions, ensuring operational efficiency.
