Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Float- Driver / Logistics and Delivery Coordinator to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong logistical skills, experience in commercial driving, and a passion for excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of medications, scheduling deliveries, and supporting logistics operations as needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, physical capability for heavy lifting, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver medications and supplies to various locations within designated regions. Coordinate daily delivery schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining accurate documentation. Schedule and coordinate patient medication deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate service. Contact patients to confirm delivery details, address changes, availability, and special delivery requirements. Collect and process patient payments in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to patient inquiries and resolving delivery-related concerns in a professional and compassionate manner. Assist with logistic activities including moving stock, loading/unloading shipments, and organizing inventory using forklifts or manual handling techniques. Communicate effectively with team members, patients, healthcare providers, and clients to confirm delivery details and address logistical issues promptly. Support logistic operations by performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance. Adapt to changing delivery routes, patient requests, or schedules as required, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid G driver’s license suitable for operating company vehicles. Previous warehouse experience involving moving equipment or inventory management is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while adhering to safety standards. Experience working in logistics, distribution, or healthcare-related environments is advantageous but not essential.
