SUMMARY The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role drives inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, on-time delivery performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service. The Warehouse Operations Manager partners closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless material flow and optimal warehouse performance. Direct and oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and department personnel. Establish and maintain warehouse processes, procedures, and operating standards. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and lean warehouse practices. Monitor productivity and develop action plans to improve efficiency. This position is responsible for direction and coordinating the work activities of others including but not limited to: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and Material Handling Supervisor. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience required. 10-15 years of experience in Supply Chain roles at a manufacturer preferred. Previous experience in warehouse slotting and pick/pack/ship operations. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software. Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics. Leadership skills to manage a team of warehouse personnel. Design and implementation of organization structure for a manufacturing plant preferred.
