Flexible Part Time – Supply Chain Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to manage and streamline our supply chain. In this role, you will manageinventory, forecast supply and demand,and purchasing. This is an ideal position for someone who wants flexible hours and enjoys having a direct, tangible impact on a small business's bottom line. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Demand Forecasting: Monitor stock levels across sales channels. Develop and maintain sales and inventory forecast models to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory. Create and issue purchase orders based on inventory lead times and projected demand. Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Track supplier shipments, production timelines, and freight status. Review customs clearance documentation and track inbound shipments. Reporting & Data Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as COGS, inventory turnover, lead time variance, and shipping error rates. Generate weekly/monthly reports on inventory health and operational performance for leadership. Identify operational bottlenecks and propose actionable, cost-effective solutions. Order Fulfillment: All members of the team assist with order fulfillment. It will be expected you join the team as needed to support direct order picking. This will help familiarize you with our products and assist in balance our workload. This includes standing and walking for long periods and lifting and lowering objects up to 20 lbs. Experiences Required: 1–3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or operations analysis. Strong Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills Compensation & benefits: This is a contract role you will receive a 1099 for your taxes. Must have a US resident or hold a work permit Pay: $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
