Flex Ground Handler Junior Lead - Drone Delivery Operations

Pay: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Part-Time / Flex / As-Needed Work Location: On-site - 1035 Hickory Creek Boulevard, Hickory Creek, TX 75065 Schedule: Flexible, as-needed shifts; no guaranteed weekly hours Flex Schedule & Employment Details This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Work shifts are offered based on operational needs, staffing coverage, and business demand. We aim to align your availability with an established A or B shift rotation to provide greater scheduling predictability. Shifts may occasionally become available with limited advance notice. Flex employees are expected to work at least one hour every three weeks to maintain active payroll status. Additional hours may become available depending on business needs, but a consistent weekly schedule is not guaranteed. Operating hours generally fall between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days per week. Strong-performing Flex employees may be considered for full-time opportunities as positions become available; however, full-time placement is not guaranteed. Perform quality control checks to ensure order accuracy, package weight compliance, and proper handling. Safely load packages onto delivery aircraft according to established procedures. Assist with daily site setup, equipment readiness, inventory counts, and operational organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Junior Leadership & Team Support Assist the Ground Handler Lead with coordinating daily workflow and supporting frontline associates. Provide guidance, coaching, and procedural clarification to team members as needed. Help assign and rotate team members across operational positions based on staffing and workflow requirements. Monitor team readiness, safety compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures. Assist with coordinating breaks and maintaining appropriate site coverage. Support daily operational reporting, attendance tracking, and shift handoffs. Communicate staffing concerns, safety issues, and operational challenges to onsite leadership. Step into additional leadership responsibilities when the Ground Handler Lead is temporarily unavailable. Qualifications Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, retail, fulfillment, or operations environment. Previous Leadership, Team Training, Or Supervisory Experience Strongly Preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with operational processes or performance metrics.
