Fleet Vehicle Assistant

Job Summary E&E Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Fleet Vehicle Assistant to support daily vehicle operations and fleet readiness. This position assists with vehicle inspections, cleanliness, maintenance coordination, recordkeeping, and general fleet support to help ensure vehicles remain safe and prepared for scheduled transportation services. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine vehicle checks and report any visible damage or maintenance concerns. Help ensure fleet vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for scheduled assignments. Support vehicle maintenance scheduling and service coordination. Maintain basic vehicle records, including mileage, inspection reports, and service documentation. Assist with organizing vehicle keys, supplies, and fleet-related paperwork. Communicate vehicle status updates and service needs to supervisors. Help monitor vehicle availability and report scheduling conflicts. Support drivers and operations staff with general fleet-related requests. Follow company procedures and workplace safety guidelines. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic computer and recordkeeping abilities. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing and moving supplies when needed. Previous experience in transportation, vehicle services, or fleet operations is a plus but not required. Work Environment This position involves working in a transportation and fleet operations environment, with responsibilities that may include office-based coordination and interaction with vehicles.
