Fleet Trailer Technician - 2nd Shift
Coastal Elite ProPosition Overview: Responsible for performing fleet maintenance primarily on Trailer chassis assets, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and supporting shop projects to maximize asset uptime and productivity while maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections according to fleet and OEM specifications, including lift-gates and related components. Support other technicians, participate in training, and demonstrate technical proficiency through certification. Complete detailed work orders documenting issues, causes, and corrections. Assist in shop projects to optimize asset performance and support safety culture. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma required; 5-7 years of mechanical experience, with knowledge of internal combustion engines and heavy-duty equipment, preferred. Proficiency in troubleshooting lift-gate systems, ASE certifications, and understanding of vehicle maintenance systems and DOT regulations. Strong attention to detail, physical ability for heavy lifting, and working in various warehouse environments. Commitment to high-quality repairs, safety, and teamwork.
