Fleet Trailer Technician - 2nd Shift
Coastal Elite ProPosition Overview: Responsible for performing fleet maintenance primarily on Trailer chassis assets, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Supports shop projects to maximize asset uptime and productivity while maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections, ensuring work meets internal and OEM standards. Perform small repairs and support troubleshooting efforts. Participate in training with experienced technicians to develop technical skills and certifications. Assist with shop projects to optimize asset performance. Complete detailed work orders documenting issues, causes, and corrections. Support other technicians and contribute to a safety-first work environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 5-7 years of mechanical experience, with knowledge of internal combustion engines and heavy-duty equipment. Proficiency in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, especially lift-gates. ASE certifications preferred; strong understanding of vehicle systems and D.O.T. regulations. Physical ability for heavy lifting and extended standing; attention to detail and accuracy. Strong safety awareness and pride in quality repairs.
