Fleet Supervisor — Second Shift
MOHR TalentFleet Supervisor — Second Shift Troy, NY | Full-time | Second shift | $80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience An established food and beverage organization is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to lead professional drivers, coordinate routes, and keep daily deliveries running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on driver leadership and transportation operations. It’s an opportunity for an experienced supervisor or transportation team lead who enjoys coaching employees, solving delivery challenges, and improving service. What You’ll Do Lead daily driver assignments, schedules, and delivery coverage. Adjust routes and equipment assignments to resolve delays and changing customer needs. Coach drivers on safe practices, customer service, and performance expectations. Monitor overtime, review timekeeping, and maintain accurate transportation records. Coordinate vehicle readiness and repairs with fleet maintenance. Support safety investigations and use operating reports to improve delivery performance. What You’ll Bring 3+ years of transportation, logistics, or distribution experience. 2+ years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience, with the ability to direct and coach professional drivers. Solid knowledge of DOT requirements, transportation safety, scheduling, and recordkeeping. Familiarity with food distribution practices and applicable safety and quality requirements. High school diploma or equivalent and comfort using routing software and business applications. Ability to read, write, and speak English for operational communication and documentation. Availability for second shift, with flexibility for unexpected operational needs outside scheduled hours, including weekends or holidays. Preferred Qualifications Class A commercial driver’s license.
