• Ensure that all requirements set by DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies are met, while also keeping detailed electronic logs up to date.
• Ensure that the budgetary constraints are adhered to by efficiently managing both workforce hours and supplies.
• Arrange and supervise work plans, making sure to incorporate any required overtime.
• Supervise the deployment of assets for deliveries and organize essential maintenance work.
• Examine productivity analyses and propose ways to boost operational effectiveness.
• Ensure the enforcement of company policies remains uniform.
• Coordinate efforts with Sales and Marketing departments in tackling customer service and delivery challenges.
• Perform customer visits to analyze delivery difficulties and attend to customer inquiries effectively.
• Foster a positive work environment by holding meetings and encouraging open communication among associates.
• Track the overall mood and propose strategies to increase staff participation.
• Upholding safety education, evaluations, and incident examinations.
• Take charge of the process of hiring, training, managing behavior, and conducting assessments for staff.

Qualifications and Experience of Fleet Supervisor:
• The minimum educational qualification includes a high school diploma or GED, with additional preference given to candidates holding a degree in Business or Supply Chain at the associate or bachelor’s level.
• Candidates must possess 1-3 years of related experience or training.
• It is necessary to finish a defensive driving course that meets Sysco’s standards.
• Preferably, candidates should hold certification for handling Hazardous Materials (HazMat) and possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Demonstrates proficient communication, leadership qualities, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Competence in utilizing Microsoft Office tools and aptitude for acquiring familiarity with proprietary software.
• Understanding of FMCSR guidelines and skill in utilizing regulations and processes.
• Capacity to perform effectively when faced with demanding circumstances in a rapid-paced work environment.
