E&E Transportation LLCJob Summary E&E Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Fleet Service Associate to support daily fleet activities and help maintain vehicle readiness and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an interest in vehicle care, fleet coordination, and transportation operations. In this role, you will assist with monitoring vehicle conditions, coordinating maintenance schedules, maintaining fleet records, supporting vehicle inspections, and communicating service needs to the appropriate team members. Your work will help ensure vehicles remain organized, properly maintained, and ready for transportation assignments. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily fleet operations and vehicle service activities. Help monitor vehicle availability, condition, and readiness for scheduled assignments. Support routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Coordinate vehicle maintenance appointments and service requests. Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel usage, inspections, and maintenance history. Communicate vehicle service needs and repair updates to supervisors. Help organize vehicle keys, documents, supplies, and assigned equipment. Assist with checking vehicle cleanliness and general condition. Report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or equipment issues promptly. Coordinate with drivers and operations personnel regarding vehicle availability. Assist with tracking scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance. Help prepare fleet reports and update internal vehicle records. Support vehicle preparation and readiness before transportation assignments. Follow company procedures and applicable vehicle safety requirements. Perform additional fleet support and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Previous experience in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance support, transportation, or logistics is preferred but not required. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Attention to detail when inspecting vehicles and maintaining records. Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and data entry. General knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance procedures is an advantage. Ability to identify and report vehicle condition or safety concerns. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines. Work Environment This position involves working in a transportation and fleet service environment. Daily responsibilities may include vehicle readiness checks, maintenance coordination, recordkeeping, and communication with drivers and service personnel. Depending on assigned duties, the role may involve working in an office, fleet facility, or vehicle service area.
