Fleet Runner – Car Rental Company

Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and motivated Fleet Runner to help manage the day-to-day condition and movement of vehicles within our growing car rental fleet. This is a hands-on position. The ideal candidate is reliable, pays attention to detail, is comfortable working around vehicles, and can work independently without constant supervision. Responsibilities * Inspect vehicles and make sure they are rental-ready * Check tires, oil, fluids, fuel levels, lights, and overall vehicle condition * Make sure rental vehicles have at least ½ tank of gas when being prepared * Take and submit photos of vehicle condition and fuel levels * Clean/prep vehicles when necessary * Pick up, drop off, and move vehicles as needed * Assist with recovering/repossessing rental vehicles when assigned * Report vehicle damage or mechanical problems immediately * Help keep the fleet organized and ready for customers * Perform basic maintenance/repairs when qualified Mechanical Experience Basic mechanical experience is preferred but NOT required. Experience with jobs such as the following is a plus: * Oil changes * Brake pads/rotors * Spark plugs * Batteries * Basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting We are not looking for a full mechanic. We mainly want someone who understands cars, can recognize when something doesn’t look or sound right, and is willing to learn. Requirements * Valid driver’s license and good driving habits * Dependable transportation to work * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable driving different types of vehicles * Able to follow instructions and checklists * Comfortable taking photos and communicating through a phone/WhatsApp * Able to work independently * Must take care of company vehicles and equipment Pay $100–$125 per day, depending on experience, reliability, availability, and mechanical ability. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working around cars, doesn’t mind being on the move throughout the day, and wants consistent work with a growing car rental company.
