We are seeking a motivated, relationship-focused, and results-driven Fleet Recruiting & Retention Manager to lead driver recruiting efforts, improve retention strategies, and help grow a strong, engaged fleet. This role is responsible for attracting qualified driver candidates, guiding them through the onboarding process, developing retention initiatives, and creating a positive driver experience that supports long-term success. Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and community outreach. Conduct initial screenings and interviews to identify quality candidates. Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective drivers to support fleet growth. Promote the benefits and opportunities of driving with zTrip to prospective applicants. Coordinate recruiting campaigns and hiring events to increase applicant flow. Driver Onboarding & Activation Guide new drivers through the application, qualification, and onboarding process. Assist candidates with licensing, documentation, and onboarding requirements. Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience from initial contact through activation. Coordinate with operations and training teams to ensure successful driver launches. Monitor onboarding progress and quickly address obstacles that may delay activation. Driver Retention & Engagement Develop and implement programs designed to improve driver satisfaction and retention. Build positive relationships with drivers through regular communication and support. Conduct follow-ups, surveys, and retention interviews to identify concerns and opportunities for improvement. Work proactively to reduce driver turnover and improve fleet stability. Recognize driver achievements and support engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture. Serve as a trusted resource for drivers throughout their tenure with the company. Fleet Growth & Workforce Planning Collaborate with leadership to establish fleet growth goals and recruiting targets. Monitor driver staffing levels and forecast hiring needs. Analyze recruiting performance and retention trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop strategies to increase candidate conversion and reduce onboarding attrition. Support expansion initiatives through driver acquisition and workforce development efforts. Relationship Management Establish relationships with workforce development agencies, vocational programs, community organizations, and referral partners. Develop partnerships that generate qualified driver candidates. Serve as an ambassador for the zTrip brand within the community and transportation industry. Represent the company at career fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities. Reporting & Performance Analysis Track recruiting metrics, hiring activity, onboarding progress, and retention performance. Maintain accurate applicant and driver records.
