Fleet Operations Manager

We are a stable, family-owned local/OTR trucking company located in Davis County Utah looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee safety, drivers, fleet operations, and DOT compliance. This role is hands-on and fast-paced-ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, accountability, and variety in their day.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate, and dispatch a fleet of drivers and trucks
- Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, and load coordination
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and safety standards
- Manage driver qualifications including licensing, medical cards, training, and certifications
- Maintain accurate driver files, logs, inspections, and compliance records
- Monitor fleet safety, performance, and maintenance coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding schedules, routes, and compliance
- Stay current on transportation regulations and ensure company-wide adherence
Qualifications:
- Min 5 years' experience in fleet management, dispatching, and transportation operations (construction experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and driver regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with drivers and leadership
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
- Valid driver's license required – CDL Preferred
