Fleet Operations Assistant - Winter Springs, FL (Entry-Level)

Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage trucks and heavy machinery/equipment (renewal of registrations, servicing, tracking) to ensure they stay current.
2. Review daily purchase requests for all field rentals and maintenance submitted by field operations team.
3. Generate, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in NetSuite to ensure timely completion of services requested.
4. Communicate proactively with the field operations team on statuses and estimated arrival of rentals and maintenance.
5. Oversee requests for having vehicles services, review quotes, and coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups for maintenance.
6. Review and monitor all rental requests.
7. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and track preventative maintenance inspections for all trucks and heavy machinery/equipment.
8. Track the cost of repairs for damaged trucks and heavy machinery/equipment per market, working with HR department and field leadership to hold Teammates accountable for preventable loss/damage incidents that occur.
9. Monitor fleet utilization, costs, and efficiency.
10. Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
11. Demonstrate ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
12. Exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise solid judgement and decision-making based upon timely and creative analyses.
13. Communicate clearly in written emails and through all verbal interactions.
14. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by VP, Field Operations.

Job Requirements
1. AA/AS degree or equivalent experience.
2. Fleet background is preferred but not required.
3. Strong communication skills necessary for both internal communication and communicating with vendors.
4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs and Google docs, with NetSuite being an added benefit.
5. Desire to constantly learn and work with new systems to continually enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
