Fleet Mechanic / Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Job Overview Elick Enterprises LLC is looking for a dependable, hands-on fleet mechanic to maintain and repair our trucks, trailers, and company equipment. We need someone who knows their way around a shop, can change tires, diagnose problems, and work independently without needing constant supervision. This position is a good fit for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and understands the importance of keeping trucks safe and on the road. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trucks and trailers. Remove, install, and replace truck and trailer tires. Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before they become major problems. Diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs when possible. Perform oil changes, brake work, tire repairs, and other general maintenance. Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized. Track completed repairs and report equipment issues that need additional attention. Help keep the fleet road-ready and compliant with safety requirements. Requirements Previous experience as a truck, fleet, diesel, or heavy-equipment mechanic. Must be able to change truck and trailer tires. Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities without constant supervision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize repairs. Must have your own basic hand tools. Valid driver’s license. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job. What We’re Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of their work.
