Fleet Mechanic — Rent Panda

Steady workflow, your own bay, and bonuses tied to fleet uptime instead of flat-rate roulette. What you'll do day to day: Run scheduled preventive maintenance: oil, filters, fluids, rotations, brake checks. Diagnose and repair: brakes, suspension, electrical, AC, check-engine lights. Pre-rental safety inspections and post-return check-ins on every unit. Handle breakdowns and roadside issues during operating hours. Order parts, track spend against budget, keep the shop clean and organized. Maintain service records for every vehicle. The pay: $30/hr base, overtime after 40 — plus up to $600/month in bonuses for fleet uptime, low comeback rate, PMs on schedule, and parts under budget. +$1/hr per ASE certification (up to 2), $600/yr tool allowance. Maxed out: ~$73,800 a year. What we're looking for: Proven auto mechanic experience (fleet experience a big plus). Own tools; comfortable with diagnostic scanners. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Fast without cutting corners — takes pride in zero comebacks.
