Overview: Major Functions: Must have Heavy Duty Diesel Experience on Tractor/Trailers Oversee daily operations of mechanics and garage, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Requires excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, and experience in automotive services or a related field. Here's what you have to look forward to - Paid Time Off Medical/Dental/Vision Company Funded Pension Program Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Ensure timely and efficient workflow by prioritizing/allocating tasks with mechanics and technicians. Coordinate daily operations of the garage, managing and closing out work orders, ensuring proper completion. Serve as the point of contact for Dispatch, Central and MTH, coordinating and providing updates on repair status and addressing inquiries. Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance KPIs and reporting Assist in ordering and managing inventory of parts and supplies. Monitor and oversee road call activities. Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance orders for remote sites, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the garage. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Approve the work completed by Apprentice. Support Fleet Manager and other staff with necessary tasks and perform repairs as needed. Qualifications: Qualifications: Three to five years work experience in vehicle/equipment maintenance, parts, and fuel management and/or transportation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ASE certification preferred. Technical knowledge and skills related to internal combustion, diesel, and electric powered vehicles and material handling equipment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred proficiency using MS Office and fleet management systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Valid driver’s license. #LI-DNI
