Fleet Mechanic (CDL Required)

Description: We're a fleet vehicle maintenance and repair company in Fort Lauderdale. We're hiring an experienced mechanic with a CDL to keep our customers' fleets on the road. This is a full-time position working 6 days a week, 10-hour days. You'll work on everything from vans to heavy-duty trucks, and you'll drive them when needed. What you'll do: Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles, including vans, box trucks, and light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks Do preventive maintenance: oil changes, brakes, tires, suspension, and inspections Troubleshoot engine, diesel, electrical, and A/C problems Road test vehicles and move them between job sites and customer locations Keep accurate repair notes and work orders Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe What we're looking for: Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record 2+ years of automotive, fleet, or heavy-duty truck mechanic experience Experience working on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks Strong diagnostic skills with scan tools Own basic hand tools Reliable and able to work independently Authorized to work in the U.S. Nice to have: ASE certifications (including Medium/Heavy Truck series) DOT inspection experience Bilingual English/Spanish Pay: From $800.00 per week Work Location: In person
