In this role, you will maintain and repair the vehicles and equipment our crews depend on every day. You will help keep our fleet safe, dependable, and ready for work through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Responsibilities Perform bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, passenger vehicles, trailers, and aerial lift equipment. Complete preventive maintenance inspections to identify repair needs and keep equipment in working condition. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems. Inspect, service, and repair brake systems. Perform tire maintenance. Complete minor diesel engine repairs. Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems. Service and repair hydraulic systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old. Previous experience repairing vehicles and equipment. Working knowledge of the major systems found in heavy equipment, passenger vehicles, trailers, and aerial lift equipment.
