We currently deliver regional service from operational hubs in 14 different locations across the country. What we are looking for: We are looking for hard-working, process-driven skilled mechanics who want to be a part of building something special. We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanics to maintain and repair fleet vehicles. Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial fleet vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues and determine the appropriate repair. Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, cooling, electrical, and other mechanical repairs. Conduct inspections and identify safety and maintenance concerns before they become major issues. Work independently in a mobile environment with limited direct supervision. Accurately document repairs, parts used, labor performed, and vehicle condition. Communicate professionally with customers and fleet personnel regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs. Assist with difficult or complex repairs and serve as a technical resource for other technicians. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT and vehicle safety requirements. Properly use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment. Respond to service calls and prioritize repairs based on urgency and vehicle needs Schedule: Second Shift - Monday- Thursday 3PM-1AM Responsibilities Upload documentation and logs of work via phone to Slick's proprietary software: TruView. Maintain vans, equipment and tools in good condition Pay: Is dependent on skill level. Willing to pay more depending on certifications and skill level. Skills Proven experience as auto mechanic Excellent knowledge of mechanical components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Ability to handle various tools and equipment. Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is nice, as well.
