Fleet Mechanic

Pro Fleet Services keeps commercial fleets on the road. We are hiring a mechanic whose main work is Rivian electric delivery vans (EDV / RCV 500 and 700) on Amazon and other last-mile routes. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair these vans and get them back on route the same day when the job allows it. What you’ll do Preventive maintenance: brakes, tires, suspension, steering, cooling, cabin systems, and 12-volt electrical Diagnose drivability, charging, thermal, and low-voltage faults with scan tools and wiring diagrams Repair high-wear route items: brakes, tires/TPMS, ball joints, control arms, shocks, doors, and steps High-voltage work only after training and lockout: isolation checks, orange-cable inspection, contactor, DC-DC, and charge-inlet faults Road-test, document the repair, and update the fleet manager the same day What you bring 3+ years as an auto, medium-duty, or fleet mechanic, or a tech program plus solid shop experience Real electrical diagnostics: voltage drop, parasitic draw, CAN, and scan-tool work Valid driver’s license and a record clean enough to move customer vans Able to lift about 50 lb and work on your feet most of the shift EV or hybrid experience is a plus. We will train the right mechanic on Rivian and high-voltage procedures Preferred: Rivian or commercial EV experience, HV safety training, ASE A-series or L3, fleet or dealership background. Full-time days Pay based on experience; Rivian and EV diagnostic skill moves the offer. Medical, PTO, tool allowance, and paid training.
