Fleet Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic (On-site) responsible for maintaining transportation fleet equipment to ensure safe, reliable, road-ready operation. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Troubleshoot and service engine, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Complete scheduled maintenance and services according to required standards. Use modern diagnostic tools and shop equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Document all work accurately and comply with applicable DOT and shop requirements. Maintain a safety-first, team-based approach in the service environment. Qualifications & Skills Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills for diesel-powered equipment. Proficiency working on braking, electrical, and hydraulic components. Ability to complete preventive maintenance and scheduled services accurately. Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance expectations. Strong attention to detail for documentation and quality workmanship.
