Fleet Mechanic

Job description: About the Position We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Fleet Technician to support our transportation fleet and fabrication facility. This position is responsible for maintaining company vehicles, trailers, shop equipment, and facility machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. Maintain and repair fabrication shop equipment. Conduct routine inspections and identify needed repairs. Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Keep accurate maintenance and repair records. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Qualifications Experience in maintenance, fabrication, welding, fleet maintenance, diesel repair, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and machinery. Knowledge of basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Ability to safely operate shop equipment and hand tools. Valid driver's license required. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
