Fleet Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced, reliable mechanic to help maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and power tools used on our general contracting projects throughout Arizona. This position is based in our 4,000 sq. ft. maintenance shop in Mesa, with occasional travel to jobsites as needed. The shop has two 20'x40' bays with 20'x14' doors and is equipped with a 15,000 lb. two-post lift, a tire machine and balancer, and clean, dry compressed air throughout. Description of Duties: Perform routine preventative maintenance on our fleet of light- to heavy-duty trucks Repair and replace tires on trucks, trailers, and equipment Diagnose issues across the fleet and source the parts and materials needed for repairs Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Coordinate with dealers and vendors on major repairs Maintain accurate maintenance logs for all fleet vehicles and equipment Job Requirements: Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus and reflected in pay) Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems Must provide own hand tools Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in Arizona heat Welding/fabrication experience a plus Able to operate trucks with trailers and equipment well enough to diagnose and move as needed.
