Fleet Mechanic

Job description Olson's Greenhouse is one of the largest bedding plant operations in the Intermountain Region. We are currently seeking a full time, hourly FLEET MECHANIC at our Fort Lupton, Colorado facility. Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. During our peak busy season (April through June), longer week day hours and Saturday hours may be necessary. This position is primarily responsible for working on semi-trailers and basic service of fork lifts, tractors, and semi-trucks. Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting, testing and completing preventative maintenance. Safety and quality of work are major priorities and applicant must comply with all safe work practices, policies and processes. Educational and experience requirements include: Broad knowledge of engine systems, lift gates, fork lifts, tractors and various equipment. Not required, but refrigerator trailer knowledge is desirable Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Track record of quality work Strong communication skills to interact with team Proven ability to recommend process or efficiency improvements Familiarity with semi-trailer DOT regulations and ability to perform DOT inspections This is a fast pace environment and must have the ability to prioritize, be self-motivated and ensure trucks are road-ready when needed Must have basic record keeping skills Must have a valid driver's license Billingual is a plus but is not required To be considered: Email resume.
