Fleet Manager – Trucking Company

AA Freight Inc. is looking for an experienced and organized Fleet Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, coordinate with drivers and dispatch, and ensure company trucks and trailers operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Oversee daily fleet operations and monitor truck and trailer assignments. Experience in equipment installation Communicate with drivers regarding equipment, maintenance, and operational needs. Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns. Track vehicle registrations, inspections, permits, and insurance documents. Monitor fleet utilization and minimize equipment downtime. Coordinate with dispatch, safety, and accounting departments. Ensure company equipment meets DOT and FMCSA requirements. Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation. Qualifications Must possess a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Previous experience in trucking, transportation, or fleet management preferred. Knowledge of regulations and commercial vehicle requirements. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and fleet operations. Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and handle operational issues efficiently. Experience working with drivers, dispatchers, and maintenance providers preferred.
