R. B U'Ren Equipment IncOverview Join our dynamic team as a Fleet Manager/Dispatcher , where you'll play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing our transportation operations. This energetic position involves managing vehicle dispatching, optimizing fleet utilization, maintenance, and ensuring seamless communication Duties Coordinate daily dispatching of vehicles, drivers, and freight to meet operational demands efficiently Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and internal teams Monitor GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to ensure timely deliveries and route adjustments as needed Manage phone call inquiries related to freight, shipping & receiving, and customer service with professionalism and clarity Ensure compliance with DOT ,IFTA,HUT,FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate records for all dispatch activities Perform data entry tasks related to shipment details, vehicle logs, and fleet management Ensure fuel availability and coordinate fueling schedule Requirements Proven experience in road transportation operations, logistics, or fleet management with a strong understanding of transportation planning principles Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), vehicle dispatch software, and fleet management tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, internal communication proficiency, and customer service orientation Ability to perform data entry accurately using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other relevant software Understanding of regulations governing road transportation operations and shipping & receiving procedures Demonstrated analysis skills for troubleshooting dispatch issues and optimizing routes for freight movement Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance Join us in driving excellence within our transportation network!
