Fleet Manager

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicle operations and ensure efficient transportation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the fleet, coordinating road transportation activities, and maintaining internal communication to support smooth daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and effective phone communication to liaise with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring timely and efficient road transportation services. Coordinate vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to maintain records, generate reports, and support administrative tasks related to fleet management. Communicate effectively via phone to coordinate with drivers and internal departments. Ensure internal communication channels are maintained for seamless information flow across teams. Monitor vehicle performance and address any operational issues promptly. Develop and implement organizational procedures to optimize fleet utilization and reduce costs. Maintain accurate documentation related to vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance records. Experience Proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent phone communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders. Knowledge of road transportation regulations and safety standards is advantageous.
