Fleet Maintenance Technician

Job Description: Fleet Maintenance Technician $30-$35/hour Pay: Based on Experience Schedule: Monday-Friday | Overtime & Weekends as Needed. We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to take ownership of our fleet shop and help maintain a safe, compliant, and reliable fleet operation. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Troubleshoot electrical, air brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems Complete trailer repairs, With strong experience in welding and fabrication work Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance and inspection records Manage parts inventory and vendor relationships Coordinate repairs to maximize fleet uptime Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop What We're Looking For A motivated technician who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and takes ownership of the fleet shop while helping improve equipment reliability, safety, and compliance. Job Requirements: Heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience DOT/FMCSA compliance experience OTR diagnostic and repair experience PTO diagnostic and repair experience Trailer repair and welding experience Parts inventory management experience Strong customer service and communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Class B License Supervisory experience a plus #TS-BHT-1 Wage Range: 30.00 - 35.00 per hour General Description of Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Life insurance Paid time off
