Fleet Maintenance Technician

Frei Construction, Inc.Fleet Shop Service Mechanic - Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair our fleet; consisting of trucks, dump trucks, heavy equipment and trailers will be the focus of the job, along with tools and equipment. Major Responsibilities: - Keep clean and orderly shop. - Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services - Maintain work area appearance and safety - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition. - Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. - Adjust and replace brakes, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment. - Experience on heavy equipment and construction tools. Front end loaders, grinders etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week Experience: Diesel engine repair: 5 years (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
