Key Responsibilities
• Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Safely move company equipment around the yard as necessary.
• Assist drivers with any outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery checks, and machinery lubrication.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is properly parked and secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility cleanliness through housekeeping duties.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed at Clean Harbors:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• 1+ years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years of DOT inspection experience is required.
• Must provide your own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination upon hire.
