Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead our fleet maintenance operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our diverse equipment and vehicle assets. As a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will oversee maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and manage a team of skilled technicians. Your expertise will help optimize fleet performance, reduce downtime, and maintain compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all fleet vehicles and equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment Ensure vehicles are prepped for all scheduled jobs/trips. Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and preventive servicing to maximize operational uptime Manage maintenance records, work orders, and service logs with precision and attention to detail Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts procurement, warranty claims, and specialized repairs Conduct inspections of heavy equipment operation, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately Lead a team of mechanics and technicians by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work standards Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to heavy machinery operation and maintenance practices Requirements CLASS 4 Operator License Proven experience in dealership or heavy equipment maintenance management with a strong background in automotive repair and industrial machinery Mechanical knowledge of ambulances Familiarity with schematics reading and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues on complex equipment Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for diagnostics or training purposes Join us as we drive excellence in fleet management!
