Fleet Maintenance

Job Overview Keep vehicles and equipment ready for the work ahead as a Fleet Maintenance professional. You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, using mechanical knowledge and the right tools to address issues safely and efficiently. This hands-on role may involve vehicle maintenance, heavy truck repair, diesel engine repair, and equipment maintenance across a varied fleet. Duties Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical systems repair on vehicles, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, air brakes, suspension, shocks and struts, alignments, hydraulics, HVAC, and automotive electrical systems. Service heavy equipment, including Caterpillar machinery, excavators, cranes, and forklifts; operate equipment as needed. Use schematics, hand and power tools, and welding, fabrication, soldering, and assembly skills to complete repairs. Your impact: Timely, careful repairs help drivers and equipment operators work with dependable vehicles and machinery. Experience Mechanic, service technician, or dealership experience is helpful; experience with heavy equipment mechanics, diesel mechanics, automotive repair, or vehicle systems is preferred. Bring practical experience in vehicle mechanics, equipment repair, tire service, brake repair, and electrical work. Apply mechanical knowledge and safe work practices when using tools, lifting heavy components, and maintaining equipment. Customer service skills are valuable when communicating repair needs and service updates. Pay: $15.00 - $31.29 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
