Fleet Dispatcher

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the daily operations of our transportation fleet. In this vital role, you will ensure the efficient scheduling, routing, and communication with drivers to optimize freight movement. This position offers an environment where your analysis skills and communication abilities will make a tangible impact on our logistics success. Duties Coordinate daily dispatch activities using Email to assign routes and schedules effectively Communicate clearly with drivers ensuring timely updates and problem resolution Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring compliance with shipping & receiving procedures Utilize data entry skills to accurately record dispatch information, shipment details, and delivery statuses. Manage shipping documentation, including manifests, delivery receipts, and freight claims, maintaining precise records for auditing purposes Qualifications Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) Strong understanding of freight operations, shipping & receiving processes Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Proficient in data entry with high accuracy using Microsoft Word & Excel Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic typing skills and comfort using multi-platform software tools for effective dispatching Familiar with GEO Tab and Lytx Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care On-site parking Vision care Work Location: In person
