Fleet Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic Responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and related systems that power construction vehicles and equipment. The role supports fleet reliability to ensure efficient transport and logistics operations. Key Duties Inspect diesel engines and mechanical systems to identify faults and wear Perform repairs, tune-ups, diagnostics, and routine maintenance Service and troubleshoot vehicle components and powertrain systems Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to resolve mechanical issues Document maintenance and repair work and maintain equipment readiness Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of diesel engine operation, troubleshooting, and repair Proficiency with hand tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic tools Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical schematics Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient problem-solving
