Job Description: Fleet Coordinator / Vehicle Runner Company: J. Alexander Autos Location: Metro Atlanta, Georgia Job Type: Part-Time, Flexible Schedule About the Role J. Alexander Autos is looking for dependable and responsible Fleet Coordinators / Vehicle Runners to support our rental fleet in Metro Atlanta. This is a flexible, part-time field role for individuals who can move vehicles safely, communicate clearly, and follow instructions without constant supervision. Responsibilities Deliver and collect vehicles from customers. Transport vehicles to and from mechanics and car washes. Complete fueling runs and basic vehicle readiness checks. Document mileage, fuel levels, vehicle condition, and keys using photos. Support customer handoffs and the remote checkout process. Provide timely updates and report delays or vehicle concerns. Follow assignment instructions and handle vehicles carefully. Compensation Compensation is based on the assignment or scheduled work block, with pay agreed upon in advance. Local customer pickup or delivery within 15 miles: $20 per assignment. Airport pickup or delivery: $20 per assignment. One-way mechanic trip: $20 per assignment. Mechanic drop-off and pickup: $20 per assignment. Standalone fuel or car wash run: $20 per assignment. Scheduled blocks with multiple assignments: $20 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum. Required waiting time is paid at an additional $5 per started 15-minute period after the first 15 minutes. Longer routes are priced before dispatch. Payment is made weekly. Approved fleet fuel, parking, tolls, and return transportation expenses are covered. Assignment volume varies, and this position does not guarantee full-time work. Requirements Valid driver's license. Driving record that meets the company's insurance requirements. Reliable transportation to the assignment starting location. Smartphone for communication, photos, and task updates. Previous experience in delivery, valet, dealerships, rental cars, or logistics is helpful.
