Fleet Coordinator – Samsara Maintenance Project Overview Solvent Direct is seeking a motivated, highly organized Fleet Coordinator with prior Samsara experience for an initial fleet maintenance project. The first project is specifically to build out and organize our vehicle maintenance program within Samsara , including maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance tracking, service records, inspections, and automated alerts for our fleet. Prior hands-on Samsara experience is required. This project may lead to additional projects and potentially full-time employment for the right person. We are looking for a hungry, driven candidate who wants an opportunity to grow with one of the fastest-growing distribution companies in the U.S. Initial Project Responsibilities Set up vehicle maintenance schedules and recurring PM requirements in Samsara. Configure mileage, engine-hour, and time-based maintenance alerts. Organize maintenance records, inspections, repairs, and service history. Review fleet maintenance requirements and ensure each vehicle is properly scheduled. Identify overdue or upcoming maintenance and create a clear tracking process. Help establish standardized fleet maintenance procedures within Samsara. Ensure maintenance and inspection documentation is easy for management to monitor and audit. Experience Required Previous hands-on Samsara experience is required. Experience configuring Samsara maintenance schedules, alerts, inspections, and vehicle records strongly preferred. Fleet management, commercial trucking, logistics, or transportation experience. Understanding of preventive maintenance and DOT/commercial vehicle requirements. Strong Excel and data-entry skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to work independently, identify problems, and complete projects without constant supervision.
