Georgia Institute of TechnologyGeorgia Tech Fleet Management seeks an experienced, motivated Fleet Automotive Mechanic II to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment supporting one of the nation's leading research universities. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues while contributing to a mission-driven organization. Responsibilities π§ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automobiles, trucks, and equipment using advanced diagnostic tools. π§ Perform preventive maintenance and major component repairs. π§ Repair and overhaul brake, electrical, ignition, transmission, differential, and hydraulic systems. π§ Conduct inspections and road tests to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. π§ Support inventory management and fleet asset accountability.
