Komplete Modular Solutions Ltd.Calmar, Alberta | Full-Time | Local, Primarily Yard-Based Position Komplete Modular Solutions Ltd. is looking for an experienced, hands-on Fleet & Service Foreman to join our team at our Calmar, Alberta facility. This is a local, primarily yard-based position responsible for coordinating the repair, maintenance, refurbishment and overall readiness of our modular building fleet. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required, but the majority of this role is based at our Calmar yard. This is not a traditional construction-site Foreman position. We're looking for someone who can lead a crew, assess buildings, prioritize repairs, coordinate trades and materials, troubleshoot problems and take ownership of ensuring our units are FieldReady. The right person will be organized, practical and hands-on — someone who can lead the work while still being willing to pick up the tools and work alongside the team when needed. The Role As our Fleet & Service Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day work required to inspect, maintain, repair and prepare Komplete's modular fleet at our Calmar facility. You'll work closely with Fleet & Procurement, Project Management, Service & Maintenance, yard personnel, subcontractors and other trades to ensure units are assessed, repaired and ready when required. A major part of this role is planning ahead — knowing what units are coming back, what needs to be completed, what materials and trades are required, and what needs to be prioritized to meet upcoming project demands. You'll be responsible for helping turn those priorities into an organized daily plan for the crew and keeping work moving from initial inspection through to final FieldReady sign-off. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Calmar service and maintenance crew Inspect modular units returning to the yard and identify damage, deficiencies, repairs and maintenance requirements Develop repair scopes and determine labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements Prioritize work based on upcoming deployments, customer requirements and fleet needs Assign daily work and provide clear direction and expectations to the crew Coordinate repairs, renovations, modifications, maintenance and refurbishment of modular buildings Monitor work in progress to ensure timelines, workmanship and quality expectations are being met Complete final inspections to ensure units are safe, functional, complete and FieldReady Coordinate and oversee carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other building-related repairs Troubleshoot building systems and determine appropriate corrective action Coordinate subcontractors and outside trades when specialized work is required Ensure required materials, parts, tools and equipment are identified and available before they become a delay Identify recurring maintenance issues and opportunities to improve fleet reliability and efficiency Maintain clear communication with Fleet & Procurement, Project Managers and other departments regarding unit status, priorities and expected completion dates Identify deficiencies or potential schedule impacts early and communicate them appropriately Lead toolbox meetings, hazard assessments and safety inspections Ensure work is completed in accordance with Komplete's Health, Safety and Environmental requirements Maintain a clean, safe and organized yard and work environment Complete and review required daily reports, timesheets, inspections, deficiency lists and other documentation Mentor, train and provide direction to crew members and apprentices Hold team members account…
