Fleet Analyst

The Fleet Analyst plays a key role in supporting daily trucking operations by monitoring fleet activity, analyzing performance data, and ensuring accurate reporting of driver and equipment usage. Key Responsibilities Utilize company tracking systems to maintain, monitor, and report on fleet activity and driver records. Administer and maintain the FleetWatcher Material Delivery Solutions (MDS) platform, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity. Monitor real-time fleet activity and communicate issues, irregularities, or infractions to management in a timely manner. Create, verify, and export virtual shift tickets on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on data analysis to support operational efficiency and equipment utilization. Translate fleet performance data into clear insights, including potential financial or productivity impacts. Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and management teams to support continuous process improvement initiatives. Maintain organized records and documentation related to fleet operations and reporting. Perform other duties as assigned in support of fleet and operational objectives. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in trucking, logistics, construction, or fleet operations preferred. Familiarity with dispatch, GPS tracking, or fleet management systems preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required. Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity in handling operational information. Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or evenings as operational needs require. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
