Flatbed Tow Truck Driver with TDLR (ASAP!)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous towing experience and a current TDLR license in hand . The driver will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need. This role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of towing operations, the ability to operate various towing equipment, and strong customer service and communication skills. The ability to work independently, handle challenging situations professionally, and follow all safety and company requirements is essential. Duties Operate tow trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform vehicle loading and unloading using flatbeds and other towing methods. Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, and other services. Safely secure vehicles and equipment for transport. Conduct basic vehicle assessments to identify potential issues before towing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Complete required documentation, photos, and job information accurately. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, dispatchers, and other parties. Handle customer concerns and conflicts professionally. Follow all applicable TDLR requirements, safety regulations, and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues. Maintain reliable communication with dispatch throughout the workday. Requirements & Experience Previous towing experience is required. Must have a current TDLR license in hand. Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Experience operating a tow truck, flatbed, or similar equipment. Strong knowledge of towing procedures and vehicle handling. Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Previous mechanic or automotive experience is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and excellent customer service skills. Must be able to follow company policies and safety procedures.
