Flatbed Rollback Tow Operator

Overview As a Flatbed Rollback Tow Operator, you’ll use a rollback tow truck to transport vehicles safely and provide dependable roadside support. You’ll assess vehicle conditions, explain the recovery process, and work with customers to resolve stressful situations with care and professionalism. Your impact: Safe loading and secure transport help protect customers’ vehicles and get them where they need to go. Duties Operate a flatbed rollback tow truck for car towing, vehicle recovery towing, and roadside assistance. Safely load and unload vehicles using proper equipment and cargo securement protocols. Inspect vehicles and equipment, perform basic vehicle troubleshooting, and complete minor mechanical vehicle repairs when appropriate. Apply automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and vehicle mechanics knowledge to identify issues and communicate findings. Deliver clear customer service, manage conflicts calmly, and document service details. Requirements Commercial driving experience; commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions and operate a tow truck safely. Mechanical knowledge, mechanic experience, or experience with automotive repair and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Understanding of safe vehicle loading onto a tow truck, flatbed operation, and cargo securement protocols. Strong customer service and conflict management skills; able to communicate clearly while working independently and safely. Pay: $750.00 - $1,500.00 per week Work Location: In person
