Flatbed/Rollback Driver

Job Summary As a Flatbed/Rollback Driver, you’ll transport vehicles safely to auctions and assist with recoveries. You’ll operate a flatbed tow truck, load and unload vehicles, secure cargo, and communicate clearly with office staff. This role suits a safety-focused driver with sound mechanical judgment and good communication skills. Responsibilities Drive a flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles from storage yard to auction. Safely load vehicles onto the tow truck, position them for transport, and follow cargo securement protocols. Perform car towing and vehicle recovery towing while protecting vehicles and maintaining awareness of road conditions. Use basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical vehicle repair skills when appropriate; identify issues that require further service. Provide courteous customer service and use conflict management skills to address concerns calmly. Skills This is a non CDL position and all trucks are automatic transmissions. Essential: Safe vehicle loading onto a tow truck, flatbed operation, load and unload procedures, and knowledge of cargo securement protocols. Essential: Mechanical knowledge, basic automotive diagnostics, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, including practical troubleshooting. Preferred: Experienced transport driver. Preferred: Automotive repair or mechanic experience, including minor mechanical vehicle repair. REQUIRED: Hard working, team player able to pass background check.
