Compensation & Benefits Owner Operators are paid 88% of the truck gross. Full fuel discounts are provided to help maximize your earnings and reduce operating costs. Fuel card provided for convenient fuel purchases. Paid biweekly on the 1st and 15th of every month . Payments are made conveniently by Direct Deposit . Duties Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs and safety equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip inspections on your vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security systems. Load and unload freight using heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, cargo details, delivery times, and inspection reports for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered en route. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep your vehicle in optimal condition. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) suitable for flatbed operations. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts or similar machinery used for loading and unloading freight. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load-securing techniques specific to flatbed transportation. Familiarity with automotive repair basics to perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on trucks. Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS technology and map-reading skills. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach to freight transportation.
