Flatbed Non CDL Driver/Shipping
Extreme CoatingsNorth Houston Intercontinental Airport area. Requirements: Experience driving Flatbed Trucks. Experience loading/unloading 30-40 ft. pipes. Must have a clean driving record. Local Houston driving and assist with Shipping/Receiving Dept. · Load, secure, and unload crates and pallets · Receive paperwork from shipping and receiving department and verify accuracy against shipment · Return signed paperwork from each delivery; Return paperwork from each pickup · Drive in a safe and professional manner while obeying all traffic laws · Maintain telephone contact with shipping and receiving to receive delivery or pick up instructions and/or to receive notice of changes in schedule · Responsible for maintaining regular vehicle maintenance and presentation of vehicle · Operate forklifts and overhead cranes · Maintain a clean and organized shipping yard · Prepare parts for shipment · Gain and utilize thorough knowledge of company history, culture, identity, and goals · Learn and carry out set up processes for each department including but not limited to stripping, welding, blasting, coating, and polishing · Identify proper measuring tools and measure readings accurately · Sign job router as activities are completed · Ensure established quality standards are maintained · Operate polishing lathes, forklifts, and overhead cranes · Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly facility · Gain and utilize thorough knowledge of company history, culture, identity, and goals · Responsible for observing all safety practices by ensuring all machine guards and other safety equipment or devices are in place and in good working order before and during operations · Ensure all required personal protection equipment is used at all times Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work Location: In person
