Flatbed Dispatcher

With facilities in Hamilton and Brampton, HCT serves as a critical link in the supply chain. HCT Flatbed Team Join our growing flatbed division at HCT, where we move loads across key fixed regions. We’re looking for a Flatbed Long Haul Dispatcher to plan and coordinate freight movements and ensure our fleet operates with maximum efficiency. Key Responsibilities Plan and dispatch trucks for long haul routes. Coordinate daily schedules with drivers and owner-operators Book and manage customer appointments Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or disruptions Communicate load details, instructions, and updates clearly to drivers Track equipment availability and trailer needs Work closely with customer service and yard operations teams Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations and ELD requirements What We’re Looking For 1 - 3 years of experience in dispatching (preferably in FTL flatbed trucking) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dispatch and TMS software Knowledge of customs and border crossing procedures is an asset Experience with cross border processes (ACE, ACI, In-Bond etc.) is a bonus.
